THE IMPORTANCE OF EXPORT PROCEDURE TRAINING FOR UNS STUDENTS

On March 17th to 19th, 2009, PPEI represent training program in cooperation with Universitas Negeri Sebelas Maret Surakarta (UNS) which held at Environmental Research Center Building (PPLH: Pusat Penelitian Lingkungan Hidup) UNS. Export Procedure training is the 3rd batch from 8 batch which was scheduled. The trainer from PPEI, Directorate General of Customs and Excises and International Chambers of Commerce, we deliver the understanding and knowledge of how to start export not only in preparation document but also in product distribution line and also its payment. The participants are UNS polytechnic academy students majoring International Business, Faculty of Economy. And the numbers of participants are 30 people. This training was opened by Head Program of Polytechnic Academy of International Business, Mr Harry Murti, M.Si. and closed by Export Import Training Coordinator cooperated PPEI and UNS Mr Wahyu Agung Setyo, M.Si. He hopes this cooperation keep continue and going well in the future. According to him, export training is very good training for students as basic knowledge of export technically. The students who were participated in this training will have big value added in facing working world competition. To know how far the participants understand about the training subject, the participants were given a pre test in beginning and post test in the end of the training session. Next training batch still will be taken a topic of Export Marketing Strategy and Procedure of Export.
